Terms of service

Last updated 23 October 2026 · Version 0.1

These terms apply when you use Staging Mind, a meeting rehearsal app, and this website. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Staging Mind.

01What Staging Mind is

Staging Mind lets you rehearse meetings out loud with a panel of AI colleagues and gives you a debrief afterwards. It is a practice tool. It is not therapy, coaching from a qualified professional, or medical advice. If speaking anxiety is seriously affecting your life, talk to a professional.

02Your account

  • You sign in with Google, GitHub or an email address and password, and must be at least 18 years old.
  • Keep access to your sign-in account secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One person per account. Do not share your account.

03Plans and payment

  • Free ($0): 2 sessions a month, up to 10 minutes each, and your last 3 debriefs.
  • Pro ($15 a month or $120 a year): 30 sessions a month, every meeting type and pressure level, and full history.
  • Week Pass ($5 one-off): 7 days of Pro. It does not renew.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices are shown in USD and may exclude taxes that apply where you live. If we change a price, we will tell you before it affects your next renewal. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, we will honour it.

04Your content

Your briefs, recordings, transcripts and debriefs belong to you. You give us permission to process them only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. They are never used to train AI models. Do not put anything in a brief that you are not allowed to share with the service providers listed in the privacy policy. Codenames are fine.

05Acceptable use

  • Do not use Staging Mind to break the law or to harm, harass or impersonate anyone.
  • Do not try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits of the service.
  • Do not resell access or use automated tools to run sessions.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

06AI-generated content

The panel's questions, hints and debrief notes are written by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or unfair. Use your own judgement, especially before relying on feedback for anything important.

07Availability and changes

Staging Mind is a new product. We will try hard to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly affects a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

08Liability

To the extent the law allows, Staging Mind is provided "as is", and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

09Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time, which deletes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may close accounts that break these terms.

10Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way we will update the date at the top of this page and, if you have an account, let you know by email before the change takes effect.
